With more than 12 years of experience supporting students, educators, schools, and community organizations, Kia is passionate about helping learners build confidence, close academic gaps, and achieve meaningful growth.
Her work is rooted in the belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and intentional instruction create the foundation for lasting student success. Kia believes students learn best when they feel seen, supported, challenged, and connected.
Throughout her career she has served as a classroom teacher, literacy and math interventionist, instructional support provider, tutor, and educational consultant — spanning elementary and middle grades, with specialized expertise in literacy intervention and data-informed decision making.
As an Educational Consultant, Kia partners with schools to provide targeted intervention, support assessment readiness, analyze student performance data, and implement strategies designed to accelerate growth.
